Three Things to Look Out for in a Woman’s Profile
Getting started on dating sites is stressful and can be difficult, especially when you don’t know what to watch for when you’re searching for women. Though online dating sites are immensely popular, it’s difficult to filter out liars and scams, so you have to be careful. A wrong move can get you a girlfriend who doesn’t look like her profile picture in the best scenario, and in the worst you could wind up getting your identity stolen by a scammer. Whether you’re searching for a long-time girlfriend or just a fling, it’s important to look at a woman’s profile very closely before hitting her up.
Brush-offs
If her profile says something about how age is “just a number”, or laughingly says that a lady doesn’t reveal her age, then that’s a red flag right away. Her profile might be fake, or she might just be much older than she wants you knowing. Dating a cougar can be fun, but when she’s pushing 60 that′s a little too much. If she’s unwilling to tell you her age, she’s probably old. If she’s unwilling to tell her weight, then she’s probably on the bigger side. That isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but you don’t want to be fooled into thinking that you’re dating a skinny girl. Find a girl who’s upfront about her age and weight and you’ll be much better off.
Up Angles
While an up angle is the most flattering in photos, it’s also worth looking into, especially if that’s how all her pictures are taken. A cropped photo at an up angle will make her look thin and young, which is exactly how she wants you to see her. Focus on the neck to tell her age – if you see any wrinkles or shadows that look suspiciously like wrinkles, then she’s probably older than she says she is. Looking for crow’s feet by her eyes is also a good plan, because the angle or the lighting can’t erase them. If you want to tell her weight just from that cropped image, then take a good look at her cheeks and lips. Fuller cheeks and pouty lips are key signs that she’s chubby, even if she does crop the photo so that you can’t see her body. If her neck seems thick to you, then that’s another good tip-off. A thin girl will have a much smaller neck than a chubby one.
Being Too Flirty
A girl who wants to give out her email and location right off the bat is the biggest red flag for a scammer that you can ask for. Girls aren’t just going to go flinging around their personal information, nor are they going to be blabbing about how horny they are to any guy who checks their page. If she wants to exchange info after the first time you visit her page, then it’s time to fall back and regroup. Scammers want to get that information out of you with as little effort exerted as possible, so don’t fall prey to their traps.
